At the end of January, I crossed the country to sunny cloudy Florida to participate in the inaugural AIOps Expo conference. Since this was the first edition of the event, attendees didn’t fully know what to expect – but (slight spoiler alert) the early returns are promising…
Organized by the same folks behind the ITEXPO conference and held at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, the AIOps Expo is the first event in the tech industry to focus solely on AIOps. This industry first is noteworthy, as it is a clear signal that AIOps is increasingly becoming an integral part of the IT ops equation.
To that point, here at VI we are definitely witnessing the positive impact of AIOps on our customers’ businesses, and current and prospective customers alike are increasingly asking us about our AIOps credentials and expertise. Visitors to our AIOps Expo booth were no different, and we were delighted to showcase the wide range of AIOps capabilities built into our solutions. Attendees were especially eager to learn more about VirtualWisdom, our flagship solution and the industry’s most comprehensive hybrid infrastructure management and AIOps platform. VirtualWisdom leverages data and analytics, through immersive dashboards and application-aware topology maps, to help customers proactively gain full control over the hybrid infrastructure supporting their mission-critical applications.
In addition to the memorable conversations at our booth, I had the pleasure of participating in a session alongside executives from Dynatrace and KEMP Technologies. Titled “The Relationship Between AIOps and Application Performance,” the session offered the opportunity to share our perspectives on the impact of AIOps on the all-important application, as well as ways in which AIOps can optimize application performance management. During the session, I also explained how VirtualWisdom is a unique AIOps solution that integrates real-time hybrid infrastructure monitoring.
Based on the experience at this first edition of the event, the AIOps Expo is a valuable forum for IT ops professionals eager to understand the role AIOps will increasingly play in their organizations. If you attended the event, drop us a line – we’d love to hear what you thought! And as always, stay tuned to this blog for updates about our products, customers and partners, and feel free to connect with us on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
