This service provides regular sessions, both remote and onsite, to ensure customers are able to keep the monitoring solution tailored to their operational needs.
With a shortage of resources and rapidly changing environments, customers can be hard-pressed to get out of the reactive, troubleshooting mode and become proactive SAN managers. A recent study reported that the average SAN administrator spends over 400 hours per year troubleshooting problems.

SOS-4-SANs Emergency SAN Troubleshooting | The Virtual Instruments SOS-4-SANs Service is designed to offer immediate expert assistance to end-users, integrators, and SAN component vendors who require deep expertise in troubleshooting SAN problems. By utilizing the VirtualWisdom® and SANInsight™ monitoring and analysis products, Virtual Instruments is unique in its ability to identify and resolve Fibre Channel (FC) SAN emergencies to bring mission-critical applications rapidly back to optimal performance.

SAN Healthcheck and Scan Service | By looking deep into the SAN infrastructure physical layer, Virtual Instruments’ SAN HealthCheck and Performance Scan Service, can quickly identify performance and behavior anomalies and trouble spots on any SAN. The service scans all levels of connectivity to identify potential communication issues on the Fibre Channel network and points out potential issues that are on the verge of or have exceeded the “Fibre Channel rules of thumb” SAN infrastructure behavior. A comprehensive report of analysis and findings is provided at the conclusion of the service. The customer ma then choose to request additional services to provide detailed capacity planning or to assist in the resolution of issues found during the SAN HealthCheck and Performance Scan Service.

QuickStart Services for VirtualWisdom | VirtualWisdom QuickStart Services are designed to jumpstart the deployment of Virtual Instruments’ VirtualWisdom software and associated SANInsight™ hardware products such as Traffic Access Points (TAPs), SAN Monitoring Probes (SAN Performance Probe), Rovers, and Protocol Analyzers. These services combine on-site training and deployment services to help ensure a successful initial VirtualWisdom deployment.
