Virtual Instruments to Speak On Optimizong Storage Networking for Private Clouds at SNW Fall 2011
Will Showcase Recently Announced VirtualWisdom 3.0 and SAN Performance Probe Products
SAN JOSE, Calif., October 5, 2011 — Virtual Instruments, a leader in storage area network (SAN) and virtual infrastructure optimization solutions, will be presenting and exhibiting at Computerworld’s upcoming SNW Fall conference taking place October 10-13, 2011 in Orlando, FL.
In his session, Len Rosenthal, Vice President of Marketing, at Virtual Instruments, will describe ways to proactively improve the performance, availability and utilization of virtualized and private cloud infrastructures, including servers, switches and storage arrays. He will also discuss how Virtual Instruments has helped dozens of F1000 companies reduce problem resolution times by up to 80% and improve I/O performance by 100% through virtual infrastructure optimization.
Virtual Instruments will be demonstrating its latest solution, the VirtualWisdom 3.0 platform, including its recently announced 8Gb SAN Performance Probe, in booth #411. VirtualWisdom 3.0 enables IT managers to obtain a holistic view of their physical and virtual infrastructure in real-time, which maximizes ROI by reducing operational and capital costs.
Attendees can also experience Virtual Instruments’ VirtualWisdom solution in the SNW hands on lab session, entitled “Storage Implications for Server Virtualization.” Led by Andrew Benrey, with participation from Virtual Instruments, Dell, IBM and Symantec, the hands on lab will guide participants through exercises that illustrate SAN and storage implications in deploying, maintaining, and optimizing a virtualized environment.
