Virtual Instruments to Present and Exhibit at SNW Spring Conference

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 30, 2011– Virtual Instruments, a leader in storage area network (SAN) and virtual infrastructure optimization solutions, will participate in the Storage Networking World (SNW) conference in Santa Clara, Calif. from April 4-7, 2011, by showcasing the VirtualWisdom® virtual infrastructure optimization solution in its booth.  The company will also be demonstrating the VirtualWisdom solution in the official SNW Hands-On Lab training program and discussing how one leading financial services customer, Bank of Montreal, is benefitting from its use of VirtualWisdom.

In a session titled, “SAN Performance & Availability Optimization:  A Financial Services Customer Perspective,” conference co-presenters, William “Skip” Bacon, CTO of Virtual Instruments, and Brad Dart, Senior Storage Analyst for the Bank of Montreal, will illustrate industry best practices for optimizing the performance, utilization, and availability of SAN infrastructure. In sharing his experiences, Dart will reveal how the Bank of Montreal implemented virtual infrastructure optimization solutions, saving the bank’s IT team a substantial amount of time and money by proactively avoiding SAN outages, accelerating problem resolution time, and optimizing performance in real-time.

The Hands-On Lab gives users a chance to “test drive” the latest technologies, such as VirtualWisdom, in a controlled learning lab environment.  The classes take place for two hours at regular intervals throughout the conference to give attendees a rich learning experience around SAN and virtual infrastructure optimization.
