Strong Sustained Growth Prompts Company Move to Larger Headquarters in Silicon Valley

SAN JOSE, Calif., December 2, 2010 — Virtual Instruments, a leader in storage area network (SAN) and virtual infrastructure optimization solutions, today announced it has moved company headquarters from Scotts Valley, Calif. to the center of Silicon Valley. The company is now located at 25 Metro Drive, San Jose, Calif.  The transition to a larger office space for the worldwide headquarters was necessary to accommodate customer, employee, and overall company growth.

“The demand for comprehensive, real-time SAN I/O visibility is accelerating as more enterprises move their mission critical applications to virtual environments and private clouds,” said John W. Thompson, chief executive officer, Virtual Instruments.  “In order to continue to offer the best in virtual infrastructure optimization products and services, we have decided to move into a facility that allows us to grow with our expanding customer base.”

Virtual Instruments’ new corporate headquarters, just a mile away from the San Jose International Airport, includes office space for sales, marketing, engineering, customer support, administration and finance.  It will serve as the heart of Virtual Instruments, a place where current and future customers can engage with Virtual Instruments’ staff and experience live product demonstrations to gain greater insight into the performance, availability and utilization of their virtual and physical IT infrastructure.
