Virtual Instruments’ Inaugural South Central Region Customer Advisory Board: Reinforcing the Value of Our Customers

The week before last we headed to the Lone Star State of Texas for our inaugural South Central Region Customer Advisory Board (CAB) meeting. Following on from our hugely successful Northeastern Region CAB in New York City in July, the goal was to meet with several of our key enterprise customers across the South Central U.S. to update them on the latest developments across the expansive Virtual Instruments ecosystem—and perhaps most importantly, to give them an opportunity to engage in strategic discussions with our executive and product management teams.

Before we dive into the key takeaways from this CAB, I want to take a moment to thank our customers and recognize the essential role they play in guiding our vision and helping us achieve success for our entire customer and partner ecosystem. We have always placed a huge emphasis on the invaluable feedback our customers give us on our products, services and company strategy—and the fact that they prioritize taking time out of their busy weeks for our CABs is a notable endorsement of our company, as well as the critical role our products and services play in helping them ensure the performance, availability and utilization of their IT infrastructures.

Held at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, the South Central Region CAB was attended by customers across our key industry sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, utilities, healthcare and retail. It was especially encouraging to see such a strong representation from the healthcare sector – which aligns with the increased interest in app-centric IPM solutions we’ve seen from healthcare providers in every market.

Another exciting element of the CAB was that a senior member of the Cisco Data Center Solutions HQ team was on hand to explain our new alliance. He helped the attendees gain a deeper understanding of our new partnership and technology integration with Cisco – and the benefits that our combined app-centric solutions can deliver to customers and the larger market.

Saving the best for last, the headline item of the CAB meeting was a sneak-peek preview of the upcoming new release of our VirtualWisdom app-centric IPM platform, which was met with an overwhelmingly positive collective response. Our customers were very enthusiastic about the fact that they’ll soon have the ability to fully understand their IT infrastructure in the context of their critical business applications, and democratize the app-centric perspective on performance management beyond traditional IT.
