By Len Rosenthal, Chief Marketing Officer

We recently welcomed Lisa Alger as our new senior vice president of engineering. We’re lucky to have her. Lisa is charged with managing our entire engineering and product build, as well spearheading our customer service & QA organizations.

Lisa has a strong track record of technical, product and business leadership, and has managed engineering and IT operations around the world. She comes to us from Brocade, where she led the OpenStack and Open Daylight SDN teams. She was also previously vice president of Product Engineering at Vyatta and senior director of NAS Engineering at NetApp.

As our CEO Philippe Vincent said when we announced Lisa’s appointment, “Her proven leadership skills will strengthen our ability to help customers intelligently transform their traditional data centers into innovative hybrid IT environments with our comprehensive infrastructure performance analytics solutions.”

We’re hyper-focused on our customer and partner communities and look forward to the growth, development, learning and expansion Lisa will drive for us during such an exciting time here at Virtual Instruments. In addition, Lisa joins our growing executive team, as we also recently welcomed Ray Villeneuve as our new president.

Both Lisa and Ray will be instrumental in advancing our company’s business and product develop objectives. Our expanded leadership team has tremendous industry experience and will support our primary goal of making it as easy as possible for our customers to manage their hybrid data center transitions.
